Angel, Roberts & Angel Ltd - A Family of Indie Businesses
The Angel family own and run Gullivers Bookshop & Square Records in Wimborne and Westbourne Bookshop in Bournemouth.
With two busy indie bookshops and a well-established record store, we're able to secure special editions and special offers as well as signed music-themed books. Our bookshops stock a full range of new books covering every genre, with a rapid ordering system in place to supply any book in print within 24-48 hours. We also stock a range of jigsaws, educational toys, cards, calendars and diaries. At Square Records we also take part in Record Store Day every year, famously resulting in queues outside the shop overnight!
Gullivers Bookshop
Gulliver's Bookshop has been trading in the beautiful market-town of Wimborne Minster since 1969. Located just along the High Street from the historic Minster church the shop is hugely popular with local people and visitors alike.
Three generations of the family work as booksellers in Gullivers, carefully curating the selection of books and aiming to provide a valuable service to their customers.

Westbourne Bookshop
Westbourne Bookshop has been trading in Westbourne, Bournemouth, since 1994, but the first bookshop on this site opened in 1903! Westbourne is a buzzing urban village filled with independent shops, cafes & restaurants, all a short walk through a wooded chine to the beach.
Westbourne Bookshop is managed on behalf of the family by Anara, and along with Paige & Kate there is always a bookseller ready to help with any query - pop in and see them!

Square Records
Square Records is an indie record store originally opened by the Holman family in 1974. Based in The Square for some 40 years before being saved from closure by the Angel family in 2018 and relocated to new premises along the High Street.
We stock a wide range of vinyl and CDs across every genre, including limited editions and picture discs, and can order any title currently available.
